WHAT ? WHY ?

     When I was a child, all I want to become is a Dentist. But, when I grew I thought to try to be a doctor, chef, an engineer, an architect, a flight stewardess and many more. When I'm in high school my parents starting to ask me if what I really wanted to be. And I answered, that I want to become a flight stewardess, and that's final. My father was shock, because he don't like me to become what I want. He want is for me to become a engineer or an architect. So, I can't defend my side because he is my father. And he gets mad if I say that I want to be a flight stewardess. 

   But one day, I ask him if why doesn't he like a flight stewardess. And I thought that maybe he don't want that there will happen bad to me. Then he answers, "it's because it has a age limit, until 40 years old only." And I was shocked, because that reason is not enough to convince me to choose what he like over what I like. So, I talk to my mom about what were talking about. And I'm happy because she will support whatever I like to become. She explained to me that, is not always my father I will follow. Of course, follow what I want and is not my father who will work.

   By the time my father will come back from abroad, I will defend what I want. 

     WHAT will I choose ?  WHY should I choose what my father like ? 

Descriptive

PARIS

     PARIS is a beautiful city with very fun and interesting things to see and do. There are many interesting sights. There are wonderful and elegant restaurants and cafes that lies throughout the city. And it is also the fashion capital of the world.

  One of the most well known sights is the Eiffel Tower. From the top of this magnificent structure it is possible to see all across the lovely city. On the Champs-Elysees you can see the Arc de Triumph which soldiers were buried beneath a war. The most popular museum in France is the Louvre. The Louvre contains historical paintings, sculptures and other forms of arts.

      PARIS is also said to be 'The City of Love'. Maybe about their wonderful places. Especially the Eiffel Tower and other places like museums. And their restaurants that have delicious foods.

 So, Paris is really a fantastic city that holds the key to your heart.

     The Eiffel Tower (French: La Tour Eiffel) is an iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris, named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. Erected in 1889 as the entrance arch to the1889 World's Fair , it has become both a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower is the tallest structure in Paris and the most-visited paid monument in the world; 7.1 million people ascended it in 2011. 

The tower stands 320 metres (1,050 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building. During its construction, the Eiffel Tower surpassed the Washington Monument to assume the title of the tallest man-made structure in the world, a title it held for 41 years, until the Chrysler Building in New York City was built in 1930. However, because of the addition, in 1957, of the antenna atop the Eiffel Tower, it is now taller than the Chrysler Building. Not including broadcast antennas, it is the second-tallest structure in France, after the Millau Viaduct.

     The design of the Eiffel Tower was originated by Maurice Koechlin and Emile Nouguier, two senior engineers who worked for the Compagnie des Establissements Eiffel.

     The projected tower had been a subject of some controversy, attracting criticism both from those who did not believe that it was feasible and also from those who objected on artistic grounds. Their objections were an expression of a longstanding debate about relationship between architecture and engineering.

Gustave Eiffel responded to these criticisms by comparing his tower to the Egyptian Pyramids : "My tower will be the tallest edifice ever erected by man. Will it not also be grandiose in its way ? And why would something admirable in Egypt become hideous and ridiculous in Paris ? And going on to point out that the protest was irrelevant since the project had been decided upon months before and was already under construction."

So, some of the protestors were to change their minds when the tower was built: others remained unconvinced.

     Today, the Tower is widely considered to be a striking piece of structural art.
